So that troll Billy Joel got BOTH Elle McPherson AND Christie Brinkley? LIFE IS NOT FAIR! How can there be a Supreme Being in this universe who would allow such a thing? Unless humanity means nothing...wait, I have to re-evaluate my whole value system and meaning of existence... this does not compute - does not compute - does not compute...

The Brains actually recorded two versions of the song - first as an indie single, then later on their debut album on Mercury

Davy Jones of the Monkees was in the 1st Broadway cast of Oliver.
That cast (including Jones) performed on Ed Sullivan earlier in the Beatles' night there.

Not a hit but one off my favorites is Letting Go. I think it was recorded in New Orleans during Venus and Mars sessions. 1975?
A side note is John came close to joining McCartney in New Orleans but Yoko called and he changed his plans.

Good stuff, and very close- but i was referring to Listen to What the Man Said… which incidentally is maybe my favorite Wings tune.. recorded at the old Sea Saint studios in Gentilly on , you were right- the Venus and Mars album .. there are some amazing pics online of Paul and Linda at Mardi Gras during the recording of that album, if youre inclined to google them .
As a follow-up, and i think this one’s a little easier- Which iconic 1970s classic rock song was recorded in Bogalusa La ?

Carry On my Wayward Son.. on the Kansas album Leftoverture which was recorded at the Studio in the Country in Bogalusa .
