Maneiri has lost control of the wind?
Posted on 3/15/21 at 5:22 pm to Hooligan's Ghost
If it blows in, he will probably bench Doughty like he did to Romero that one time.
Posted on 3/15/21 at 7:36 pm to ell_13
What a poor comparison. Romero was terrible
Posted on 3/15/21 at 7:38 pm to Naptime
And who was his replacement who could handle that wind blowing in?
Posted on 3/15/21 at 7:41 pm to Hooligan's Ghost
Balls are juiced I think

6th in HR/game. Extra innings and wind help.
TIL wind only blows at LSU games and we’re the only team in the country that continues playing if the game is tied after 9 innings

Huge being LSU will never be out of a game with the starting 9 hitting mini gorilla

Extras and wind help haven’t happened for every team.

ok, remove the 5 we hit in extras.
still at 28. 2nd best in country.
i’m not about to go look up the weather at each ballpark for each of their homers either.
but i’m going to assume the wind has blown in cities other than Baton Rouge (Lafayette and New Orleans for one day each as well).
i’m also going to venture to guess that Baton Rouge is not the highest altitude city on that list either.

The real season starts Friday night. W/L is all that matters..

seasons.

Not to down play the wind, but all but maybe one was at the top of the bleachers. The wind wasn't that strong. Now if they barely cleared the fence I could see your argument.

If you take into account total innings played, LDU drops to like 25th.

9 is a lot for the first 15 home games vs non conference. It’s the most given up in that time frame since 2016 back when LSU only had 46 and gave up 44 over a whole season.
Did you just make that up? Where the frick did you find that stat?
Posted on 3/15/21 at 8:39 pm to UpToPar
I looked it the games. You can check each game stats. It wasn’t that many and takes a few clicks per game.

Wind must have always been blowing in when Ell was playing! ????

my argument?
my argument is that i’m guessing wind blows in every city.
ell seems only LSU has benefited from wind.
but i’m not about to waste a day of my life going find each homerun in each ballpark and gauge wind speed and direction plus apex of ball flight and direction in relation to wind for each to prove him wrong.

if you remove all the homers hit, we’re tied for last.
