got off lucky with mine, she is pretty practical and knew what she wanted with a focus on optics, not weight, knew a jeweler in FL: pretty well and we drew up what she wanted and he had some company in Israel make it, people compliment it all of the time, it is nice looking and looks like it's a few carats but it isn't, it's been a while but I think it cost me about six grand, and we waited till after we married to get it
