What is next years roster gonna look like?
Presumably everyone except Watford, Thomas and Smart return.
Then you add Alex Fudge (6'6") SF and Seneca Knight 6'6" G/F transfer to the mix. Fudge was ranked the 56th best player in the 2020 class (same class as this year's freshmen). He's an athletic, long, slasher but not very big from a size perspective. Think something along the lines of a Charles Mannning type of player. Kinght was the leading scorer on a bad San Jose St. team last year. But he was a volume scorer (took a lot of shots to get those points). Still, he has a few years D-1 experience
Their highest ranked recruit (if you don't consider Fudge as part of "next years" newcomers) is Jerrell Colbert from Texas (though he plays HS ball in Memphis now). He's listed as a Center, but he's really a 6'9" PF. He's tall and very long (though somewhat skinny). He can probably develop more of an outside game, but next season he will be almost exclusively in the paint. They also add Ezewiro (after a year in prep school) who is a 6'7 240lb bruiser and Brandon Murray a three star SG from Baltimore. Physically he is ready to step in and play. He wasn't very highly recruited (Auburn being LSU biggest competition) but Wade really likes him.
Next year's group should be VERY athletic. Though they will probably be the least skilled group since Wade's first year. There doesn't look to be a big time scorer in the group like you have on this team. The length and athleticism to be a solid defensive team should be there. The offensive efficiency will likely take a dip as Days looks to be the only real "shooter" of the bunch. It will probably look more like Wade's VCU teams (lot of interchangeable athletes) rather than his LSU teams with multiple potential NBA draft picks.
