my wife (no pics), decided to get on a health kick
she lost 50 pounds, started in October
when I asked her what motivated her, she said it was because the China Virus was mostly dangerous to people that are fat and/or obese
it made me.look at myself, I was sitting at over 220 and am now down to 204 since January 29, im 6'1
the wife started in October, so I'm a little behind , target weight is 190, over halfway there
THANK YOU CHINA VIRUS!
also, need a day off work?
koff, koff, I'm experiencing more than 2 Kung Flu symptoms, imma go get a test to make sure I don't kill or endanger nobody
no one cam argue
hell, they can't even dock your pay
THANK YOU CHINA VIRUS

You sound like a horrible employee. Glad you don’t work for me.

Subtle, I’m a lazy fat slob thread.

There are some people who have handled it well or not been terribly affected.
Others have:
-Lost their jobs indefinitely.
-Increased rates of suicide.
-Increased rates of alcoholism/OD.
-Increased rates of child and domestic abuse.
-Lost their small businesses forever.
I'll hold off on the celebration.

I’ve learned to embrace my anti-social moods. Now I DGAF.

Closer to my immediate family, spent a ton more time with my husband, hiked hundreds of miles over the last year.
Spent less time with people I dislike and wasn’t judged for it.

Working from home and no daycare meant spending months of quality time at home with my son, something that could never happen under normal circumstances.
It also broke some bad habits like wasting money eating out and instead cooking and eating as a family more often.
It put a pause to many worldly things - sports, movies, consoomin’ and more time to focus on the things that matter, God and family.
It was a bad year for many but a blessing for me (and probably others if they think about it) in many ways.
