I live in a new house and every time I'm not home at night, my wife thinks she hears someone breaking in, or someone in the house, or sees someone around the corner. Never happens when I'm there. It's called women being paranoid. It happens.

Ever wonder how many times we tell ghost stories and the ghosts around us say, “I never did that shite. He’s not even telling it right.”

Smudging has the benefit of cleansing a space. It is an easy thing to do for those of us that have had paranormal experiences. Those who have not will roll their eyes. Worst case is I am out a few bucks and a few minutes of my time

You just need to read a good book to help you sleep.
Might I suggest "The Exorcist" for some light, right before bedtime reading.

I’ve always wondered why women never catch the ghost beating off

A guy is driving around the back woods of Montana and he sees a sign in front of a broken down shanty-style house: 'Talking Dog For Sale.'
He rings the bell and the owner appears and tells him the dog is in the backyard.
The guy goes into the backyard and sees a nice looking Labrador Retriever sitting there.
"You talk?" he asks.
"Yep" the Lab replies.
After the guy recovers from the shock of hearing a dog talk, he says, "So, what's your story?"
The Lab looks up and says, "Well, I discovered that I could talk when I was pretty young. I wanted to help the government, so I told the CIA. In no time at all they had me jetting from country to country, sitting in rooms with spies and world leaders, because no one figured a dog would be eavesdropping, I was one of their most valuable spies for eight years running... but the jetting around really tired me out, and I knew I wasn't getting any younger so I decided to settle down. I signed up for a job at the airport to do some undercover security, wandering near suspicious characters and listening in. I uncovered some incredible dealings and was awarded a batch of medals. I got married, had a mess of puppies, and now I'm just retired."
The guy is amazed. He goes back in and asks the owner what he wants for the dog.
"Ten dollars" the guy says.
"Ten dollars? This dog is amazing! Why on Earth are you selling him so cheap?"
"Because he's a liar. He's never been out of the yard."

Great skit, even if some say SNL has taken a step back.
Great insight as well.

I haven’t experienced anything exactly like this, but something similar happened to my sister and I growing up.
My parents built a new house and my sister one morning asked me why I came in her room and stood at the end of the bed. At first I thought it may have been legit, because I did sleepwalk when I was in high school, but she said it happened again the next night and I had stayed at a friends house.
I figured she was dreaming or whatever, well a year or so later I come back from college and the same shite happens to me. Some figure standing at the foot of the bed. It wasn’t distinct, but I could feel a presence in the room and could see an outline. I eventually was brave enough to jump up and haul arse down stairs to the living room and turn the lights on and told my fam about it the next morning.
Wasn’t sleep paralysis either. I’ve had that numerous times and I was totally aware of my surroundings and reality in this experience.
Never slept in that room again. Thankfully my parents moved

Or he looks at the other ghosts and says “he’s lying, I never possessed him and gave him a boner. I swear you guys it was just the milk he drank before bed.”

Okay, my general technique for searching is to not use the TD search function.
You Google Tigerdroppings, then (if you know the name of the poster, or another poster that was posting in the thread) put that.
Then an uncommon word used in the thread, or a combo of them.
Try...Tigerdroppings tigerfaninbamaland portal
Dude, you're talking to a googling pro. I can't tell you the amount of variations I've tried to find this thread. I never use the search function on here because it's trash. And I can almost always find what I want using google. But this time I just couldn't (even though I have many times before). And what's weird is I can find some other older threads, but not that one.
Do you at least remember the thread I am talking about?

Unfortunately we now have the transfer portal to muddy these search results
Yes, that is one thing I noticed when trying to find it a few weeks ago. I even asked Chicken if there was some sort of purge of old threads, but he didn't respond (go figure).

Vaguely
Tigerfaninbama is the poster and I found similar threads where you asked the same question actually
I would comb through his post history and might have better luck.
Do you remember a relative time frame? Year even?

In one of the more recent threads I copied and pasted his story (for just this purpose...to get it into a newer thread in case I searched for it again).

Jesus, I have no idea...maybe like 2011 or 2012 to maybe about 2014 or so?

I don't think that is the right name. I want to say it had bama land in it or something like that. And I just went through all of his posts anyway, and it's not there.
This is bothering me way more than it should.
