I understand the need for 2nd amendment rights, I really truly do. I think most gun owners are responsible. But shite like this is why I will always support yearly mental health evaluations for gun owners. Not to say it would've helped here, not to say it would ever help, but the fragility of the human mind and the lethality of firearms will always put me on the side that a yearly "hows things going" is a good idea.
