Just dropped the facade of creative or reasonable intelligence

Wasn't one thing, it was a looong pattern that I grew weary of.

I don't think it was stolen.

Favreau wanted Carano to remain

I'm sure he did. She was very involved in the season 2 finale. Now they're forced into an awkward off-screen write off.

I just rewatched season 2 of Mandalorian this weekend because my parents hadn't seen it, and her story arc was definitely setting her up for that. That show will be awkward without her too. I'm not even sure I'll watch it.

Not a chance in hell they scrap it, they wouldn't have announced it in December with no actors attached if that was the case.

I don't care about the politics part, Carano the actress and her character in the show weren't pivotal to Mandalorian and replacing her in both shows is not a huge task. If the posts/firing never happened and it just so happened Cara Dune was never on Mandalorian again I'd barely give it a second thought.

Goddamn you fricks and desperate and hard on for that halfwit Carano and the halfer half wit Kennedy. I almost want her to stay just to piss you all off and I can’t stand the woman.

The only thing Jon would be pissed about is someone usurping his creative decisions. But I doubt he’s as pissed as you wet blankets so desperately want. In fact, he’s prolly pissed she couldn’t shut the frick up after he went to bat for her the first time.

Hell, it was prolly all a ploy on her part from her insane election fraud arse hattery, to mocking Pedro with Twitter handle pronouns after his sisters announcement, to the latest.

Her family is already loaded. She probably wanted to be a conservative mouth piece to have you all panting harder for her. I mean shite. Straight to Shapiro? True fricking clown.

Is a click whore fraud.

At least Doomcock is entertaining. And right 25% of the time.

Favreau gets it and I’ve heard rumors that Favreau is actually pretty conservative. Plus he’s the one who put his neck on the line for RDJ. I’m sorry, fire that glum judgmental twat of a producer who simply got where she is by fetching Speilberg’s coffee, make Favreau the head producer of Star Wars, reshoot Episodes VIII and IX, and give us a Star Wars universe worth a damn.

If an entertainer doesn't express their views, you know where they stand..probably.

Good for Favreau.

When did this happen? I get the feeling a lot of people are just making shite up to justify firing someone who's crazy enough to believe that men shouldn't be allowed to compete in women's sports.

I only learned from r/starwarsleaks that Pedro was supposedly incensed by those tweets because he has a mentally ill sibling or something.

Also, I'm sure the OP is just spreading the usual click-bait bullshite that never has any connection to reality.

Going to battle over a shitty actress like Gina Carano would be foolish for Favreau. Her character sucks and I was hoping she would get written out anyway.

This. Well kinda. Ideologues on the extremes of both sides of political issues often come across as moronic because they put their ideology above all else including things like reasonableness and rational thinking.

I also agree that, while I thought Carano was ok, I doubt I'd have watched a series just because she led it or was in it and I think the Mandalorian is fine with or without her.

On this particular issue though, I do agree with those who say that it really is way overboard to fire someone based on stupid things they say unless it is a call to violence or something like that.

He's actually moderate leaning liberal, but from what I understand he is active about not letting his politics influence his professional or personal life. He's not another activist. He votes who he believes in and leaves it at that.

This is the way.

You think they even told Pedro anything about his?
