Tech completes a sweep of Southern with a 12-4 Sunday win.

Tulane just hit a 2 run bomb in T9 to take the lead. This series has been all Tulane.

Can Tulane please not frick this up for a second day in a row?

Fold your program Tulane. You’re garbage.

So Ole Miss and Mississippi State shoot up the rankings after great showings in Arlington. Add Arkansas in and TCU/Texas/Texas Tech combine to go 1-8.
Ole Miss then proceeds to drop 2 of 3 to a UCF team who didn't win their opening series against FAU and Mississippi State very easily could have been swept (Yes, they took 2 of 3, but that obviously doesn't tell the story this weekend) by a Tulane team who lost their opening series against the Cajuns.
Obviously, this is baseball. Both teams were probably way over confident going into the weekend, but it may be something to watch going forward. I do think it confirms how much talent there is across college baseball this season and the NCAA Tournament is going to be wild with so much parity.
For reference: Texas took 3 of 4 from BYU, TX Tech swept HBU and TCU swept Liberty.

Deggs has made some weird calls this game. We're still up 6-3 but he tried to squeeze with a lefty, called a bunt in a 3-1 count with a guy who has a HR and 2B today and a pitcher who could barely find the zone.

Louisiana completes the sweep of Rice. Rice kind of sucks, but the dude they started today was a beast. He'll be their Friday guy when he's fully healthy.

I’m just pumped to start 6-2. Was sick of opening up 2-5 or whatever the last three seasons.

Yeah, it's been fun so far. Roccaforte is a beast of a Freshman.
I wonder if Arrighetti will start again vs Tech on Tuesday or if they'll try to position him to move to Saturday. I don't know what the deal with Conor Angel is.

I’d give him another weeknight start then evaluate

Yeah, was wondering about Arrighetti as well. I think I read somewhere he will start Saturday, which may give him a chance to start tomorrow?

Was Bab on with Prather this morning? I forget what day he usually goes on

I believe Deggs was but I did not get to listen. Bab goes on Wednesdays with Billy.

Bab has been going on with Prather the last few weeks, not Billy.

Deggs said they initially underestimated how ready Arrighetti was and that they let him pitch basically a live bullpen session on Saturday. He'll be the new Saturday starter going forward. He also said Connor Cooke will start tonight, so congrats to Tech on all the free bases.
