Wheaton was always gonna be a battle but LJ was a LSU legacy and was talked about as a lock.

This further emphasizes why out of state recruits should never be considered locks. How many people remember back in 2010 the #1 and #2 RBs - Dyer and Seastrunk were considered LSU locks. We didnt make their top 3 and signed Ware and Blue

Who both had longer more productive pro careers also. Ware obviously isn’t La guy, but give me La guys who are hungry and proud tigers.

Anyone who considered Dyer a lock to lsu is slow in the brain.

Maybe by people on this board but LJ literally never said we were the leader. He’s been very consistent from the jump that it’s A&M or UT.

Legacy doesn’t mean lock. Ask Landon Jackson
