If Texas says we're out, look for a lot of red states to follow.

Even if Texas were able to unilaterally secede (it can’t and won’t), no other red state is anywhere close to TX as far as being potentially self reliant. Texas cannot be self reliant without the federal government and the property/infrastructure,etc owned or built by the federal government (primarily because it would never be able to afford a buyout or the maintenance on said facilities), but its light years closer to being able to do so than any other red state.

I understand your point about federal infrastructure etc, but what will the US do? Come and dig it all up?

Also, outside of self-reliance concerns, what is stopping TX, and other states from doing it....The US Constitution? The same Constitution the left has been cleaning it's arse with for years? Y'all can't point to laws, and The Constitution as "letter of the law" now that y'all have been poo pooing on it with all the "it's fluid" diarrhea over the years.

And for the record this Texan is definitely in on a vote for next step review. I'll be watching to make sure it's done right, and we aren't just creating a different version of the US and just slowing it down here. Im definitely good with looking into a plan for sure. Can't hurt to know if it's feasible or not.
