The optics of this are horrible and, in this case, optics matter. Photos of US Military troops armed and sleeping in the Capitol Building weaken us as a nation and if these partisan hacks in DC actually cared about the country they wouldn’t allow this to happen. It’s sad.
ETA. These troops CO shouldn’t have allowed this either. Move them to a secure area and keep them out of public view.

This is the medias problem. they could have just said, som epeople upset over election fraud vandalized the capitol and be done with it. not say some fricking old men from arkansas and a guy wearing fur over threw our government.
