How does a HC reconcile honesty w/recruits after firing their coach/recruiter

It happens every year at almost every school, but it is especially obvious at schools who had a down year. The day after getting kids signed, the assistant coach or coordinator that recruited a kid (& his family) gets fired.
It's one thing if a coach can hoodwink an 18 y/o or a naive momma, but not all students/parents are dumb and witness it practically every year to other classes.
Coaches that have reps for being honest/truthful, how do they explain away the deceit & manipulation? Do they actually believe their own lies to maintain genuineness?
Since most kids go to a school due to a relationship with a coach, and not for the school itself, it wouldn't shock me if kids start entering the transfer portal right after coach is fired just after Signing Day.

If you’re concerned about coaches being fired (or leaving on their own) don’t sign early.
This was a predictable problem with the early period.
Nearly every staff has turnover. Some of it isn’t known by signing day, so it’s not always about honesty.

These changes often get made after the late signing day period so that doesn’t really solve it

Welcome to the fricking real world.
My level of sympathy for entitled college athletes is nearing zero.

Really don’t care. Respect my decision.

Well by that logic, the real world would dictate they can leave and go to any school they want to after that happens

Sell them on the school, and what it can do to help them reach their academic and/or athletic goals. Make sure they are committing to the school and not the coaches.

Idk but Saban has more staff turnover historically than anyone and is the best recruiter ever

Happens in all businesses - person hires you one week & you leave another job & next week that person who hired you is let go!

It’s a business decision.

No, the real world has laws and rules. They are making an adult choice to join the NCAA, which has very specific rules that are readily available to the public.
These rules are not necessarily equal between coaches and players. They don’t like the rules, then perhaps they should choose to do something different.
You think the “real world” means “do whatever you want?” Explains a lot.

You apparently think it means this to, just for one side and not the other

Ask Muschamp. He watched half of his staff walk after Birch committed last year.

Most recruits are committing to the program
If an asst is successful enough he will get promotions
If not they move on

No, I don’t. There is an NCAA rule book. It’s a public document. Joining an NCAA organization is a choice. If you don’t agree with the rules, then choose to go elsewhere. There are nearly a dozen other collegiate athletic organizations in North America to choose from, and many other professional leagues.
