So for the average American that experience either, you are 3.1 times more likely to die from COVID. But that assumes that all death as attributed to COVID are actually from COVID, and pretty much no one buys that anymore. It also assumes all COVID cases have been documented, which is also a laughably bad assumption.
This also doesn't address that COVID is a one time thing, and car wrecks will always be a threat as long as cars exist, so the rate they kill Americans is actually much higher than what is shown by these numbers.
