This is the most ridiculous post I've ever seen.

Then you don't read much.

quote:

You act like these players are out begging for money for new pads and the fans provide it because we feel sorry for them

It has nothing to do with feeling sorry for them, and that's a dumb statement. It has everything to do with sports providing ZERO value. The world can function without sports. Athletes do not provide a useful service, whatsoever. Which brings me this part of your comment:

quote:

We watch these games because they provide entertainment.

They butter their own bread by having talent. They are able to make these decisions because they have leverage.

Yes, we watch because it's entertainment. That's exactly my point. We can be equally entertained by a whole new set of players who would actually care about what they do. We can also watch the games from home. It's free. Fans can stop going to games, if players find our "demands" so offensive.

And then they'll all see who butters their bread. Talent doesn't do it. Being good at football doesn't guarantee you anything, if it weren't for the fans paying outrageous prices to go see them. And they don't go to see Terrace Marshall, or Ja'marr Chase, or any one guy. They go to see their team, and whoever the players are, is whoever they are. If they don't want to hear the opinions of the paying customers, then sports should be free. And then there would be no sports.

It doesn't matter if you like what I said. It's a fact.

You really need to look up the definition of fact.

What you said is actually a pretty baseless opinion.
