Is it worth it? Family lives in Texas, but, I want to live the party lifestyle for a few years after I graduate. Seems like it would be a lot more fun than Austin, Dallas, or Houston

Depends. How do you feel about inept leadership and crippling crime?

You have a job lined up? If not, this is not the time to be moving to New Orleans.

1000x better than Houston

Dallas and Austin have redeemable qualities so it’s a little different

NOLA isn't really that fun anymore, since they cleaned up Fat City and banned smoking in bars.

I don't think I've even had a cigarette in 3 years. It's just the concept.

Thank you for not banning me last night.

If they re-elect Destroya ive already pledges to ban myself for life. So can you at least wait until then?

New Orleans is fun, but there is so little going for it long term. The city itself is a disaster, and is leveraged to the hilt. If they can ding you for a ticket, they will. It seems like every year now the safe areas are shrinking, and less and less a shite is given to petty crime. Compared to other parts of the country, New Orleans homeless are aggressive and capable of violence. The public schools are awful, and I don't know how middle class families afford to live out there at this point.

On the other hand, if I moved to Houston I could go to New Orleans more often

If I made the move I would be back in Texas long before my future kids are in school
