From everything I've been able to gather on the 2021 OL class, LSU continues to recruit five (5) HS targets and recently began recruiting one (1) graduate transfer. I've also read that they are evaluating/considering a JUCO tackle. Below is a list of these seven (7) targets.
HS targets (5)
1. Tristan Leigh, OT,5*, #11
2. Savion Byrd, OT, 4*, #48
3. Bryce Foster, OG, 4*, #67
4. Kimo Makaneole, OG, 3*, #612 (FSU commit)
5. Erick Cade, OT, 3*, #702
Grad. Transfer target (1)
1. Eric Wilson, OG, Harvard, #1,043 (class of 2017)
JUCO being considered (1)
1. Jordan Moko, OT, Snow JC, unranked by 247
Please let me know of any other OL targets remaining for 2021.

Well one of the best OGs of all time and strongest man in the NFL was a Sonoma State Seawolf.

Would be terribly disappointing if we miss on Leigh and have to settle for another Harvard transfer.
We just aren't good at OL recruiting and it all starts there.

I'd hope there are some other committed guys we're working on flipping. People have hinted at such in the last couple of weeks but haven't really shared any names

Leigh now projected to go to Oklahoma per 247 analyst

They are not related whatsoever. Leigh is a tackle, the Harvard guy is a guard

OU people think hes going OU. I trust LSU sources who still think LSU leads.

He is overwhelming projected for LSU on 247, not sure what you're talking about. Nobody has made a new prediction for him in weeks.

The OU insider Drumm just posted a tidbit yesterday saying his sources are saying its OU/tOSU battle now. I don't believe him but thats where this rumor comes from

OU insiders are totally clueless, I could post a laundry list of things they've been wrong on in the past just related to kids we were both recruiting like Jacob Phillips. EDIT - I will contend I just read that tidbit now and even he doesnt believe it, so at least there's that. Even Drumm thinks it's still OU/LSU but he thinks OU leads (for whatever reason).
Just from the surface that comment makes no sense. Leigh skipped out on Ohio State's recruiting weekend, he hasn't even visited there. But they are more in the running than we are when he not only visited here for our recruiting weekend but came back the following weekend for a follow-up visit? Yeah sure sounds like a guy who isn't considering us, and is definitely considering a school he skipped out on visiting just once when given the chance.
Just to summarize, visits Leigh has taken the last few months:
LSU - 2 (Back to back weekends)
OU - 1
OSU - 0
But yeah it's totally an OU OSU battle

If tOSU was still in play for Leigh he would've made his scheduled visit there. OU/LSU talked him out of going there

I feel like it should be said that leigh had an urgent family matter that weekend an he could not attend just so you know he was not talked out of going there

Yeah, it’s certainly not O & Co.’s strong-suit when it comes to recruiting.
And, no doubt that the OL is massively important. It's got to be the foundation from which the offense is built (at least, I’ve always heard that football teams should be built from inside-out).
The only thing I will offer about the Harvard transfer is that they aren’t looking to him as “fall-back” in case they miss on Leigh (I don’t believe). My understanding is that they are looking at him as the 3rd OL piece for this year’s class (in addition to T. Leigh, in other word).

Thats what he said, anyways. However, notice we are now going on 4 weeks since then and he still hasn't taken any visit to OSU.
This is after he paid his own way to see OU, and LSU, twice.

Yeah, whitefoot, I have also seen where people are hinting at potential flips.
However, I can’t tell if they are only talking about Kimo (FSU commit), or if there may be other flip candidates in addition to him.
Ditto to your comment that hopefully there are other candidates for this, but if there are I haven’t heard of any names at this point.

Agreed, my thought exactly

Leigh rumors have been all over the place for several months. Posters here who were steadfast in Sage coming to LSU are still saying Leigh is leaning LSU.

Agreed, I echo this sentiment completely
