I don't care if he releases them or not but 4 years later no resolution?

I mean...it is the IRS

Why do you care about another man's taxes?

Because there is nothing there but they dont want to lose it as a talking point.

How is it that General Flynn still hasn't had his bill of information dismissed against him when there is an unopposed motion to dismiss with prejudice? We are over 175 days.

If I had to guess, it's because it's the IRS and he's a multi-national, real-estate billionaire. One year's worth of his filings probably has more paperwork than my lifetime's worth.

I care about a tax authority that can resolve an audit in 4 years
How anyone finds this acceptable is beyond me. Our government is a mess

Shouldn't take 4 years.
Every publicly traded companies get audited within months

It's not that hard when you have an army, may be hard to conjure something from nothing

Audits can last for a long time. My Sister 7 BIL had one over 5 years on a much, much smaller business.

I have an issue with the IRS and it’s been three years.

IRS audits the POTUS taxes every year... They do this to every sitting U.S. president.

My company makes $30 million per year and we've been in an audit for 4 years now.

We need a Flat Tax and toss out the rest of the unnecessary red tape BS that is the IRS.

Great question. One would think this would be the common response to the tax return situation - nope, Trump's fault..

It's been much longer than that. DJT declared mass losses after the financial crisis and claimed a $73 million refund that's being disputed (it would be >$100 including in penalties if the IRS finds against Trump). The commissioner of the IRS has some conflicts of interests including >$100k annual income from Trump property investments. He refused congressional subpoenas for Trump's tax records and is surely in no hurry to resolve the audit.

They are still auditing mine from 5 years ago.

Wait until they get ahold of healthcare.
