Also consider that Abrams played the black victim race card and organized 30,000 fraudulent voter registrations. Biden does not have either of those. Plus, black voters are breaking for Trump. Additionally, there is a high profile senate contest between Kelly Loeffler and Doug Collins that will draw out lots of women voters for Loeffler. Collins also has a loyal base in north Ga. Turnout for GOP voters should be strong

What's sad is that it will even be that close in a state like Georgia. It's one indication of how much the country is changing. Changing for the worse.
Political landscapes have changed many times. South used to be Dem while New England was GOP. Rust belt, Great Lakes, and even a couple New England states like NH and Maine are going more red while Georgia and Arizona going more blue. Texas is the one we cannot lose.

Then explain the record turnout in your state for early voting.
Why do you assume they’re turning out for the dementia ridden, daughter showering, pederast protecting, China owned Biden?

Also don't forget that there was a lot of voter shenanigan's going on in the Kemp/Abrams race. Since then Kemp has had the voter rolls purged so that should help cut down on the fraud.

With a historic candidate and a lot of Bush hate, they did. Three cycles prior it was red, and it went right back red after Obama. It'll be red again, likely more than ever.
Its just not "becoming blue".

Georgia is a unique state.
Northern GA is vastly white Southern Appalachia.
Atlanta north of I-20 Is majority white.
Atlanta south of I20 is heavy black.
South Georgia is majority white in the rural areas (in the counties) and heavy black in the city limits of almost every city south of Atlanta.
Any black candidate is going to do well. But as a reminder, Clinton lost, Obama lost both times, John Kerry lost and Gore lost.
Everyone keeps bringing up the Kemp/Abrams election being so close. But there were two factors in play that heavily skewed numbers to the dems:
1. Abrams is a black woman who heavily played to two major demographics. This inspired a heavy turnout for the dems.
2. Kemp was in a very tough primary where he beat a popular Casey Cagel who was the Lieutenant Gov. many thought that Casey was going to win the gop primary.
So, the long and short of it is that the dems caught lightning in a bottle with Abrams and the outside influence and unlimited outside resources still didn’t bring a statewide victory for the dems.
Trump wins ga by 6-7 percent.

From my understanding, the whale got a whole shitload of outside money, largely from Hollywood types.

Trump visiting 48 hours before Election Day isn’t great news

You are right.
If the left would have went with Abrams (and I'm thankful they did not) We would be in serious trouble.
She is a much better lawyer than Kamala and resonates with the unwashed didn do nufins...

Also the Trump supporters didn’t really vote in the Governor elections since Trump wasn’t on the ballot. Kemp would have beat her by 500,000 instead of 50,000 if Trump were on the ballot with him.

I live in a suburban Atlanta county(south metro) and it is, aside from the county seat (which is still 60/40-65\35 red)and the retirement community in the NE part of the county, still deep red.

Cagle ran one of the worst campaigns in Georgia gubernatorial history. But in the end it was a blessing in disguise. Kemp has been really good.

You could say that the northern Metro counties(Bartow, Cherokee, Forsyth, Paulding, Hall and Barrow fall.into that category. Especially the first 5 counties.

Yes Kemp barely got by Abrams, but Kemp ain’t Trump and Joe ain’t Abrams.
And Joe doesn’t have half of Hollywood stumping in Ga like Abrams had along with millions of dollars in outside money.
