What's your realistic projection for overall season?

With a hurricane moving a game, the virus postponing another, players opting out, injuries, suspensions, NCAA on our back and the country's worst DC, I never thought I would say this, but I think we're lucky if we're 5-5. I'm really thinking 3-7 is more realistic. I was thinking 8-2 or 7-3 at beginning of season, but I'm having trouble finding 4 more wins.
Realistically, I think we know Alabama and Florida are losses. At Auburn and A&M is going to be a huge mountain to climb for this young team. Ole Miss is going to score a lot of points against this defense and I don't think we can keep up. Arkansas may be playing the best ball in the league. I think South Carolina is probably our best shot and there is no guarantee with a true freshman QB and a defense as bad as ours. If we lose tomorrow night, I don't think we win another game. I never thought I would say that coming off a NC season, but sometimes reality hurts!

I want 8-2....Likely to finish 6-4 though.....
two more loses to AL and FL.
shoot outs and close wins to OM,A&M upset, Ark.
I think they handle SC this week and stomp Auby they have a ton of issues on that team as well..

5-5 would be awesome. Until we play SC and AUB, 2-8, 3-7 seems where we are last weekend. I'd rather loose to Vandy than A&M or Missoura.

Bad. Very very bad. And it won’t get better unless O can hire someone to coach the team.

If the defense does not improve we won't win another game.

Something tells me that A&M is on a mission to absolutely destroy us after last year. Not going to be an easy game.
Ole Miss I almost see as a guaranteed loss. I hate to say it, but Kiffin is an offensive genius and I don't think we can even slow him down. I hope I'm wrong, but time will tell.
Arkansas scares the hell out of me. They remind me of our team last year that played so well together and was motivated to play well every game.
I think our best shot at winning another game is against USC or Auburn. My concern is USC runs the ball very well and our LBs have been nonexistent. Auburn, on the other hand, is still searching for an identity. They have a stud RB in Tank Bigsby and if they develop a running game, it could be a long night. The good news their QB has been struggling, which might allow our offense a few more shots at scoring.
Truthfully, I think every game is going to be a tough challenge!

6-4 is optimistic. We’ll be lucky to hit 5-5. OP’s 3-7 projection is more realistic. Besides, Coach O’s eyes are glued to more important cans, I mean issues.

You can’t be serious? Florida and Bama will most likely embarrass this LSU team and the Aggies might do the same.

"It used to be that good defense beats good offense. Good defense doesn't beat good offense anymore," Saban told ESPN on Friday. "It's just like last week. Georgia has as good a defense as we do an offense, and we scored 41 points on them [in a 41-24 Alabama win]. That's not the way it used to be. It used to be if you had a good defense, other people weren't going to score. You were always going to be in the game.
"I'm telling you. It ain't that way anymore."
And how's that sit with Saban, one of the foremost defensive minds in the game and the architect of some of the more dominant defenses in college football over the last two decades?
"I don't like it," he said with a wry smile. "But we just have to make sure we have an offense that's that way and that explosive, which we have."
"It's hard to coach defense now, because there are so many run-pass concepts in what everybody does," Saban said. "I mean, it's really, really hard to coach the secondary ... because you get so many mismatches back there."
"We're not very good on defense, average at best, but I think we will get better," said Saban, adding that to be elite on defense requires being especially good in the secondary.
"We're going to get there, but this group [in the secondary] doesn't have enough experience. You've got to go through growing pains with these guys because they see so much stuff now in college football. We see something different every week."

Of Brennan comes back soon and at relatively full speed, we MIGHT win another game or 2. If not, we will be able to talk about this year like we do about the Curley Hallman era.
