Picks irrelevant? Picks are never irrelevant. You forget so easily every year how Dell was desperate to put talent around AD but coukdnt because he had already traded away that years first. You never know when you have to attach a first to get rid of a bad contract or make a trade for a player that goes on the block unexpectedly.

I’d much rather Griff have numerous firsts in the future to play with to make sure to put the right pieces around Zion instead of always trying to dig himself out of a hole like Dell did year after year.....
