Looking more like the pre-Brady offense especially on 3rd downs and red zone

You clearly don’t remember what the pre Brady offense looked like

Having that team at 2-2 is quite an accomplishment.

41 pts. yesterday and you're crying for more misdirection and creativity. I'll cry with you for 1/2 a defense!

The offense got 24 points off of 4 turnovers on short fields

That is the only reason they came close to 40

You don’t call nfl games like you would college. I’m not really interested in watching the Panthers

Fwiw people think he’s going to get a HC gig as early as next season. So yea, there’s that

Mizzou only turned the ball over 3 times and all of them weren't short fields

This x10000000000!!!! Anyone saying this is the same offense conceptually and schematically is refusing to see it.

Kliff Kingsbury did too after not being able to cut it as a college head coach.

NFL teams hire just based on potential all the time.

He’s talking about Ensminger’s offense from 2018, which is exactly what this offense looks like.

yep. CUm and gus bus used motion for years in the power spread offense. spread option uses it also. i went round and round with the football ignorant crowd here. we used some motion last year but we used whole field so well vertically and horizontlly and Qb draws, zone reads and RPO it was not needed like needed in canadas O and the power spread/spread option offenses.

we do need better ball control passing on short and intermediate to sustain long drives but that should come with time. we are just having many failures all around with certain execution yet still putting up big numbers. we need to execute to get out of the 3rd and longs.

They had a 4th turnover on downs

These were the resulting drives

6 plays 47 yds TD
1 play 25 yds TD
4 plays 7 yds FG
2 plays 5 yds TD

hey now we got 430 yards passing on SHORT FIELDS!

right? right?

we did have short fields for scores tho. thus my comments about being able to sustain drives with ball control passing and not rely on just big plays.

Alabama's offense looked like a steam roller while Ole Miss's kept the pedal down and the pressure up. LSU has been able to score points on the bottom tier of the SEC. Brennan has looked good and is improving every game. The OL cannot block as evidenced by the lack of a rushing game and especially the final series from the 1. The non existent effort to even try to establish a running game along with the final series's play calling point to a familiar one dimensional offense. This offense will not threaten anybody above a middle of the road SEC team. E is obviously back in control. The defense doesn't even rate a comment. Bo simply needs to go. O has been proven without a doubt to be totally dependent on his coordinators. LSU has the talent but is seriously deficient in its coaches and leadership.

ALL creativity is gone from the offensive playbook. Ole Miss found it.
