FL tried it on a play last year. but they jacked it up. A few high schools are having sucess with it. Do we have anyone here that knows if we a prepared if another team trys to run it alot more. It is really catching on. Also we have the talent for it on O. Just throwing that out there.

There is absolutely no way it would work against the caliber of a team like LSU. Any powerhouse in football in wouldn't work against.

The offense looks good on paper, but there's too much going on. I mean that's great and all to have two QB's but what happens when the D-line is just as fast as the QB and you can't throw it backwards to the other guy? I've watched film and read about it and I really just don't think it could work on a consistent basis. Sure, it would work sometimes, but if North Texas came out running it I don't think it would make a difference at all. Then other schools won't run it on a regular basis. Urban tried it one play and virtually got his QB killed. No head coach of a good team is going to switch his entire philosophy.

A-11 is a gimmick offense like the "lonesome polecat". Doubtful it would ever become a base offense for a top tier Div I program. One thing is for sure you better have a QB with wheels!

I played against it in High School, a school called Lake Howell in Orlando, Florida ran it. They had terrible athletes and couldn't run it smoothly at all. They didn't win a game all year.

I think it can work in small doses but with a Perriloux/Flynn type QB mix. I doubt it'll ever be mainstream but wouldn't be suprised to see an OC like coach Crowton try a couple plays sometime...
