So what is the overall consensus of the Kirkland 3 piece ball?

I know it’s not as good as the original 4 piece ProV1 competition ball. But how is it overall? Worth $24 for 2 dozen? I’ve been losing a bunch of balls lately and figured I should save some money where I can.

Works fine for me. If you are shooting in the 70’s or not losing more than 2 balls a round you might want a nicer ball. ProV1 is gonna be good for your irons and nice around the greens. But if you are losing balls all the time then I think it’s a no brainer. Depending on the course, I’ll start with a Kirkland ball off the tee and play it till I get in a groove before I switch. If said groove never comes then I pop open another sleeve of Kirklands.
TLDR: To me, they play like a TaylorMade Soft Response.

The Maxfli Tour balls are always on sale at GG at a cheap price point.
You might want to test them against each other.

Awesome ball. Started playing with them. I was able to get a bunch on sale for $19/dozen at Miejer’s.

I am a 13 handicap. Lose a sleeve a round. My go to for a long time was the Project A. Have you noticed any loss in distance with the balls? I was actually playing a sleeve of Noodles the other day and was playing really well with them. They are the same price point, but the Kirkland is urethane. Which might be what pushes it over.

Rick Shiels has a good video on this: LINK Overall solid ball with some durability issues.

I've heard Snell are the best value if you're buying in bulk

Sounds like a low compression ball may work well for you.

Ended up getting a 5 pack Snell MTBX. Plays like the ProV1.
Gonna pick up 2 dozen Kirkland balls for when my game is off.

Txg on YouTube did a video trying to change spin with iron shafts which showed no difference. To show how spin can really be changed they then changed the ball to the Kirkland 3 piece which increased the spin 1100 rpm on a 6 iron compared to another ball, I think pro v1x. So it’s a spin machine, which could be beneficial or harmful depending on what you need
