As usual George Soros was ahead of the ball-less Republicans in fighting for our Republic. If it wasn't for Trump this country would already be communist

Civil lawsuits resulting from robberies or burglaries should never even get to court. Should be thrown out by the clerk.

Only place I know of where you cannot defend yourself is our nations capitol.

Yes the Harris County sheriff specifically gave this scenario when discussing this. All it takes is one family member of the perp to launch a lawsuit. It would be a civil case that you would have to defend. The criminal court would be fine with the killing.

In LA there is no duty to retreat, many slave states.. not so much, your first duty is to retreat (yes that can mean leave the premise and give them your shite). Depending on the DA you may have no other rights.

15 states impose a duty to retreat when one can do so with absolute safety: Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Wisconsin.

Just like every other criminal charge, it depends on the DA

Wisconsin has no duty to reteat.
And in most of those states, the duty to retreat only applies to public spaces - it does not apply to homes, businesses (owned or employees) and vehicles
