I like Shapiro too, even though he also drives me crazy sometimes. He's smart as shite.
I think he defintely has political aspriations. He's also a lawyer - so he's got the background. Even tho he talks fast, he is a good communicator.
My concern about Shapiro is that while he ultimately comes to the right conclusion, he does occasionally get swept up in the moment on certain Democrat freakouts, and then he has to backtrack when the leftist hysteria is proven wrong. For example, I seem to recall that he was originally on the wrong side of the Covington Kids thing. And well, there was his whole - I can't vote for Trump thing.
For those reasons, I'd see him as a better legislator than executive. He's not good at "in the moment" decision making. He's better once he's had a chance to marinate on an issue.
