This is how they dance at dance comps for that age. Not everyone obviously but you wouldn't believe some of the trash that gets up there and dances gross. And what is terrible is the mom and dads are in the audience yelling their heads off for the kids. I have been around competition dance for about 13 years and I have seen it all.
Interesting. My wife is a professional dancer and teaches. She was never asked to dress like that or do those things.
She is also a competition judge. She literally tells the teachers and parents that that's not age appropriate. They all get judges reviews.
There are competitions that will not allow that. They take points even.

Jodi Foster, 12 yr old child prostitute in Taxi Driver in 1976. Some of this has been out in the open for a long time. It just got worse over time and has come home to roost in a bad way.

Libido Dominandi - Lust Power & Control - Interview + Visual Aid
E Michael Jones' interview on his book.
Two groups fought over that right in the 1900s of America. One group won. But this is a good book on the role of sex.

Of the films mentioned above, it seems “Pretty Baby” is the only analogous comparison since this film features prepubescent children. “Pretty Baby” was extremely controversial at the time.
Yet even here, it is not an exact comparison: this film is being marketed in the post Corey Haim era. More and more people are thankfully aware that any “entertainment” that sexualizes children is not a victimless crime.

Probably the worst one I saw when my oldest was in Competitive dance was a group of 5-7 year old girls dancing to Flo Rida’s Low. In the middle of the dance, a couple girls pulled fake wads of dollar bills from their costumes and made it rain on the other twerking girls. In fairness, they got the lowest score in the competition. But it was an amazing low point.

What is art? The clip linked below from Johnny Knoxville’s “Bad Grandpa” pushes the limits of shock value and humor. That it was a boy in drag made it funny but at the same time, it was a young child acting out on stage.
In this instance, I believe the scene can be defended because it is a bitter denunciation of the sexualization of the child beauty pageant culture. Yet it also is disturbing because we now actually see elements in the MSM celebrating drag shows featuring young boys.

My daughter competes and while yes there are some questionable trashball studios that try to pull some of this crap its not all that prevalent.
On top of that the younger ones are typically not doing shite like that.. Its been the 14yr and older girls normally.. While ive seen some routines that have made me a bit uneasy , nothing ive seen thus far has cime close thos this nonsense Netflix has put out with trash film..

On a side note, I tried to google this pic, and could only find this one. I've used it before in the past and there were pages to choose from.

I will be calling to cancel bc I want them to know why. I hate it for my daughter bc she watches a lot of cartoons, but Netflix has crossed the line
You can leave thoughts online with them. When I cancelled, under reason I clicked “other” and I typed “I’ll come back when you stop exploiting children.”
