I’m using 260, but my actual max is 250. Felt good going up though.

Very excited to test new max on Tuesday!

Right there with yall! Last Time I tested max was in March where I hit 2 reps at 255. I'm currently using 255 as my TM and hit 16 sets at 215 today.

I love using my lifting shoes when doing heavy squats. I typically use Reebok Nano or be bare foot to warm up.

Tomorrow looks like a great one to jump right back into things. Stomach still a bit off but improving.

Tuesday done

Pause squats felt nice. Not a huge deadlift fan and use a pretty light TM so it was 4x4 at 225. Just worked form

First workout in my garage in some time. Felt good to be back lifting. Core definitely feels sore after this weekend.

Squats felt good. Stayed traditional grip with straps for deadlifts. Still getting used to using straps.

I've started using straps again too. I used them years ago and recently started again.

Day 23 done

The pause squat sets were by far the easiest lift today. I was bummed it was only 3 rep sets. The deadlift/chin-up SS was solid. I used up every bit of the 2.5 min rests. I've been trying to work on grip strength and not use straps. My hands are killing me between the deadlifts and shrugs.

And the heavy farmers walks; don’t forget about those :)

I had forgotten about those... Thanks for reminding me!

I'd rather do those lightweight pause squats all day long. I could fall asleep in that low position.

I used to use straps. I still do, but I used to too.

4 reps at 91% are going to be rough

Man I caught that crazy virus and was beat down for a week or so when we were doing strongville in January. Every time I think of Strongville, it takes me back to those unrelenting fevers

I like Strongville; it's honest. Most of the other workouts it's not the main lifts that rock your world it's some sneaky hard superset or rep range on an auxiliary lift. Not so tomorrow, I know for a fact that the Stairway is gonna be what kicks my arse

//edit: especially the 4@91% bench. I've been getting stronger all month on squats but not so much bench press lol

Tomorrow looks eerily similar to Day 12 "Friday the Thirteenth". That one had some slightly lower percentages, but a more difficult rep scheme (assuming you went option 2 or 3). I had some issues with that one on bench (option 2), but not squat (option 3).

Hoping tomorrow my only notes are completed check marks and not missed rep, bad form, struggling, etc.

I might have to wait for my son to get home from school to spot me on the bench. 4 reps is going to be tough!!

One of the best parts of working out with my son is having someone to spot heavy bench press sets. I feel like not having to unrack it alone is good for a rep at least
