Disney just announced that new episodes start October 30th so this all sounds like horsecockery.

It is understandable why Pascal would want to shoot more scenes without the stuffy-looking helmet on, as, not only must this be hugely uncomfortable, but it can't be easy to perform to your best ability while dressed head-to-toe in Mandalorian armor.

Why not just hire another actor to shoot the Mandalorian scenes and have Pedro do the voiceover?

This kind of mismanagement has Kennedy's stubborn fingers all over it, and I refuse to believe otherwise.

Clickbait bullshitery.

It’s an article that features quotes from those reliable “anonymous sources”. If Grace Randolph is peddling a rumor that no one else is touching it’s 100% false.

The only rumors she gets right are ones that several other scoopers already have that are all but confirmed.

I still stand by TFA as a more than fine reboot

Same here. The TFA hate is revisionist history

They did this for scenes in season 1.

I mean, does anyone even GAF who plays the mandalorian beneath the armor? And is there anything special about the guy, for those few scenes where he removes the helmet? Frankly I was a little underwhelmed when he removed the helmet the first time. I imagined a grittier more physical dude.

Now there are rumors coming out of Disney that Pedro Pascal quit in the middle of production.

Phil Szostak says Pedro was on set during the last month of filming:

I can't think of why they should it would.

I don't think any reporter or Disney exec would claim Pedro quitting to be a major problem. It's minor, and quickly fixable.

It became super popular, so all of the suits wanted to stick their dicks into it.

Hell, before Mandelorian premiered, Bob Iger said he was giving notes and watching the editing to see if they were using his notes.
