Players who sit out
for money reasons or political reasons
live with it
There is only one Joe Burrow...a real leader, truly unselfish... he is in it for the team
He is gone and these guys are already forgetting what it takes to be great...

Except for the senior bowl when he sat out

If he just had the season he just had and was in the same position as chase before the season? I could definitely see him opting out and protecting his value
He’s been very outspoken about player compensation and social issues. He wouldn’t take that decision lightly

Joe was a 4th or 5th rounder that needed another season to improve his draft position.
Round 1 talent has the option to make these types of decisions, especially when 2 conferences aren’t even playing this season. It’s nothing personal, strictly business.

Some of ya'll need to realize that most of these kids don't come to LSU because they love LSU. They come as a "business decision".
It's not about LSU. Its about going pro.
Tough pill to swallow.

This. Players from the last 100 years didnt have to deal with this.

Great comparison

There's no way to prove this, so...
shite argument, but if it makes you feel better, then by all means, carry on.

senior bowl
Not a team event. Senior Bowl is a favor for the players - it gives them an additional opportunity to perform for NFL scouts.

Joe Burrow had a lot to do with helping Chase to #1 wr...
It was a team effort...everyone needs the other
Chase could help support Myles...this year...
But as you said, its about money...not team or LSU

Well, yeah... you think Joe Burrow left OSU to come to LSU out of pride or because it gave him a better chance to make money in the NFL?

Deal with what? Not having fans in the stands?
Or a BLM movement aimed at destroying capitalism?
Afraid of injury is not new...
So why sit out?
Afraid h8s stock going down?
Not confident in Myles?
Posted on 8/30/20 at 3:27 pm to Silvermoon_WhereRU
And the Unitas awards ceremony as the first to ever sit out. Herp derp.

If Joe Burrow threw for 5,671 Yards and 60 Touchdowns as a Sophomore and you think with an upcoming questionable season, he plays with no thinking about sitting out the season, you’re delusional!

Probably got some money for on an agent.
But realistically this has not been an option until recently.
Sitting out would have sunk most players careers and the NFL doesn’t care as much now. Or maybe they do and this will be a bad decision ultimately

Yeah, I mean, Chase is still a high draft pick and maybe he saw something in Brennan.
But some of our fan base is retarded. I remember a couple guys were saying Joe Brady should stay because he would get a lot of good hunting trips.

He wanted to play, period
the NFL wasn't even on his radar...back then

Joe Burrow was going in to his last season looking at going undrafted.
