Wing/Breast
Mashed Potatoes
Biscuit

No drink

$6.59

Wow. Never again. Never.

And I love how Popeye's has different prices on their Firecracker Shrimp. I've seen it as low as $4.99 and as high as $6.99. Don't they order their food from the same vendor?

OOps ... move to food board. thanks.

I think this is a good board for this. That is outrageous.

Well, if you want the Money Talk angle, I must say that it's surprising how cheap pieces of fried chicken are compared to 20 years ago. The nominal prices are virtually unchanged, or in some cases actually cheaper.

3 piece chicken dinner at Church's
thigh
wing with generous extra meat attached
drumstick
buscuit
mashed potatoes

5.99
or you can do 3 pieces of dark meat for 4.99

solution: don't eat at popeye's

What Popeye's are you eating at?? I've always gotten full for a fraction of that price. Dude, do your homework.

- thigh & biscuit = $1.39 (x2)
- red beans/rice = $1.39 (x1)

2 thighs, 2 biscuits (soaked with honey) and a red beans will fill you up for under $5.

I can't imagine ordering anything at Popeye's but the spicy chicken, red beans & biscuits.

solution: EAT SMART AT POPEYE'S

Fixed it for ya!

Popeye's easily outdoes this:

- thigh & biscuit $1.39 (x3) = $4.17
- SIDE (red beans,etc) + $1.39
- WATER IS FREE
=======================================

For $5.56 you get

3 thighs (loads of meat)
3 biscuits (you'll be stuffed)
1 red beans (yum)
water.

Beats your church's deal all to hell.

you're not kidding. There was no popeye's in my neck of the woods forever and I had to deal with that crappy KFC. Now that popeyes is here..sometimes I go & just order a large red beans & rice and that's my lunch. OF course those biscuits rock. No other fast food biscuits like them...

Doesn't the price of shrimp fluctuate with the market?

Popeye's in PVILLE and Geismar have eliminated the value menu.

With Popeye's, you should be happy they at least got your order right.

Those frickers are the WORST for getting your order wrong. I wish there was like a "Pay an extra dollar to get your order right?" option.

I believe the workers at Popeye's operate at three speeds.

Slow

Slower

Slowest

It's amazing how one car can be ahead of me and I am told to wait until that car drives off before I can proceed to place my order.

Explain why you would go to subway when almost every other sub shop in the world is better than that bland arse shite.

Yeah, they take any coupons at Popeye's - gotta have a coupon when you go in - otherwise you overpay big time
