I don't have specific links on hand, but I remember reading they were thinking of changing a character and making him/her LGBTQ. Also, the original series is pretty woke against sexism, racism, xenophobia, etc.. so it's not a stretch to believe the creators would have adapted it to a more modern climate with many of those same issues in the daily news cycle.

I hate WOKE culture, cancel culture, ect. I really dont see how you came to this conclusion. Sure, the firebenders were hell bent on world domination and wiped out an entire tribe, but the characters virtually all seem like straight white characters, which is a welcomed departured from forced Woke culture.

Now Korra on the otherhand, would fit your narrative much more closely. I think you are stretching hard to find something if there is anything at all.

Its a spirit based, wisdom, buddhist, chakra-type show about balance and redemption, and its far from WOKE...

There already are LGBT characters in the Avatar universe, but the ones present in TLA seem to be mostly villains. Like Azula does give off some psycho lesbian vibes.
