Texas wants to come to death valley just as bad as LSU wants texas to come. It WILL be made up, no worries here.

Why are y’all acting like Texas is scared? They have home-homes scheduled with Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan and Georgia in these next few years.... obviously they want the smoke

Because LSU has offered to play Texas for years and they never wanted to do it until Tom Herman got to Texas and Orgeron blocked Texas from having camps in Louisiana. LSU is a major recruiting foe for Texas and Herman wanted to beat LSU badly last year. Hell, that game was a damn Crusade for Texas. Orgeron has passed up Texas and Herman knows it and wants to try to use the game (if he won it) as a recruiting tool. Screw Herman and screw Texas. Herman will probably be fired and gone from Texas before this game is ever played.

Texas got their home game from us. Why will they be in a hurry now to set one in Tiger Stadium?

Because the Big 12 is a garbage conference that you are not 100 percent guaranteed a playoff spot if you win it. They have to have marquee non conference games to boost their strength of schedule.

maybe the one plus from this COVID shite will be the killing off of the cupcake OOC games. It's just becoming more and more pointless to purchase season tickets for 2 maybe 3 good home games a year.

UT’s scheduling history says they aren’t afraid. They usually play two P5 non-conference games per year.

They also play in the Big 12, not the SEC.

Play it next year. UCLA doesn't scare me. Play em both.

Not scared, just not dumb. Out of those listed above, how many did Texas stick their fans/ band far in upper deck, have non-working AC in visitors locker room, and arrange for their team/staff dropped off blocks away from stadium in stifling heat while walking through Texas fans?

I hope the AD when that happens remembers to put the band and their fans in the nosebleeds.

If the two were to meet in 2027, LSU would be playing both Texas and Oklahoma

Yeah, :frickallthatgif:

It sucks, but that’s the way it goes with CFB scheduling. Oh well, hope I’m still around when they finally get around to playing in Baton Rouge. I do think LSU/Texas makes a delicious matchup for the Sugar Bowl or Cotton Bowl—maybe we’ll catch up there or in the CFB Playoff.

Those games weren’t scheduled.

They’ll just push it off for a few years until we aren’t as good
