He who hesitates is lost. If you don’t shoot your shot someone else will.

If she tells you she is going to a CrossFit competition this weekend, DO NOT tell her you are the CrossFit champion of Bugtussle, AL. But call her sooner than later.

It finally happened. She flirted too well, too much. We spent all morning together at an event, Covid be damned. Her homemade cloth mask hung from her left ear. Mine scrunched and sweat soaked below the chin. You know when you do things that will inevitably lead to an outcome you don't want, but you do it anyway? Or maybe she wanted me to ask her out. I don't think she knew what she wanted. So I told her I don't know the 'broke up six weeks ago' etiquette, but that I was interested and wanted my shot. She said she was interested in me too, but couldn't commit. She still needed time to heal.
"Of course, ball is in your court, let me know when you're ready"
The text message came two hours later. Three paragraphs summed into a sentence, "I had a wonderful time this morning, you're amazing and attractive, but I don't think I can date right now". Doesn't sound like the door is closed permanently, but we'll see three months from now. Two months?. It's probably closed, right?

How old are you? Do you really need the OT’s advice for every girl you meet? Just be yourself dude. It’ll work itself out.

Ask her to get checked first. See if she's covid+ before even getting close to her.

I just enjoy posting romantic musings and getting feedback. It's a subject everyone can participate in. If you think this stuff is cheesy don't read my journal.

Yeah I don’t want to. If you want her tell her. And if she’s not ready move on.

“I understand”
Don’t reach out to her for 3 weeks. You can respond curtly if she reaches out to you. Kindly bow out of any invitations to hang out.
After 3 weeks, start back over from the beginning and escalate it to the same point you did this time.

Good grief. Maybe you should go sew a quilt and recite poetry.
No wonder she said no.
Women don't like that shite. They want a big strong man that will smash pussy into oblivion. You are not that.

Bingo. if she was interested enough, she would have gone out on a date with that guy the day after she broke up.
