Doesn't matter. If you let an infected flee bite go long enough, it will rot your leg off and kill you via sepsis.

Bought over $300 worth of meat there two weeks ago. Will buy from again! Also know the family. Very hard working and good people.
I'd make sure that I go to the funeral and witness the burial.

Yup. Look at how many times characters almost died of infections on Spartacus.

Well....how was it?
Not as good as the sausage he usually picks up in the Coates Hall restroom

There is a popular meathouse/processing place in the Jackson area
Are they located next to an igloo?
ETA. Just saw the part about not in Rankin. I don't know of another processor in the area that doesn't involve chicken other than deer processors.

Then the owner's wife, 52 yo, died the next day. It turned out she had been hacking for over a week. Friends and family told her to go to the doctor but she would say she had pneumonia and would get over it. Husband finally told her they were going to ER that Saturday. She died as they got into the truck.
How do you think you have pneumonia and not go to the doctor. Stupid. I'm in the hospital right now with pneumonia (hosptal acquired) after surgery for an incisional hernia. I was getting better, but I am back on the Bi-Pap. My mesh is failing so that means another surgery soon. COVID-19 could kill me right now, but so could the flu. Yes, I will be in the hospital for a while; Ive already set up my short-term disability. It is what it is, but she was dumb as hell. I hate that she died, but WTF was she thinkgin? I know I have spelling errors but ZFG.

Another case of we don't need no precautions, we are out in the country, we are young,
She wasn't at the normal age of death for these days...but she was old enough to have plenty of medical problems. poibt is that she is not what I consider young.
On a side bote.....I'm only 32 and I had to have a colonoscopy already...guess what....they removed a polyp that had potential for cancer. Actually the test came back as the type to turn to cancer. I went in with a case of diverticulitis and doc wanted to check how things healed from meds. Only point of this is that you should not ignore pains and symptoms you're having...If I hadn't went in, I probably would not have made it to 52. Just because medicine and technology has come so far...doesn't mean 52 isn't somewhat old. If you're 50+ having symptoms of anything related to covid, the flu, a fricking pneumonia....go get that shite checked out...you are old, your body is old...a lot of shite can happen in 50 years. Don't pretend to be young because people live to over 100.

I don't recall anyone ever saying "Oh, it's just pneumonia. I'll go to the doctor next week."

So she actually said she had pneumonia but would just get over it. That's even dumber than saying she'd see the doc next week.
Quite the gotcha there cementhead.
WTF indeed.
