Current US turmoil was what Hitler predicted

Was listening to an installment of Dan Carlin's Hardcore History podcast the other day ( "Supernova in the East"), and the host mentioned something that gave me pause--one of the reasons Hitler wasn't as worried about the US getting involved was our racial and ideological diversity (especially the former). He surmised that over a protracted wartime effort so soon on the heels of the Great War, Americans would fracture along ethnic lines and fail to present a coherent, long-term military threat abroad due to unrest at home. Obviously, Uncle Sam proved Hitler wrong (Japanese concentration camps notwithstanding), but current climate makes me wonder if that fricking Nazi wasn't just a generation ahead of his time with regard to his perception of American society. I mean, we have military veterans (Gregg Popovich) saying the US flag is an "irrelevant symbol" only 78 years after Pearl Harbor. That's basically one average person's lifespan.
I'm not one to go all Chicken Little over everything the left does, and given our track record as a nation, smart money is on the US emerging from the current crises stronger than ever before, but like I said, it does give one pause. The greatest threat to the United States as the world's superpower isn't an external force. It's the people within tearing it down, IMHO.

Are you still a diehard spurs fan with the way Pop keeps behaving?

Well it wasn't exactly breaking news back then that different cultures and races could have a difficult time getting along

We don’t go down the avenue what Hitler would do or admired. These fricks burning down our cities are thinking the same about Stalin and Mao. No, we don’t do that.

Hitler was probably aware of the progressive academics that made there way to America from Europe in the early 1900’s.....he knew their poisonous ideology based in socialism/communism would eventually infest our educational system. The birth of identity politics based in victimhood was directly fomented by these European socialists.

And Hitler stereotyped America to degrees that clearly weren’t true. He greatly underestimated us and any foreign official that met with him were bewildered by what he thought America was.

Love him or hate him Michael Savage wrote a book I believe was called the Enemy Within that talks about exactly what’s taking place today.

Yes and if you listen to geopolitics guys like Peter Zeihan, geographically, energy-wise, resources, etc. we shouldn't be touched for quite some time. We have no threat on our continent that we truly need to worry about and we are energy independent for cheaper economic activity..then obviously our military is powerful as hell.
I have no clue what the solution is, and what makes it even more troubling is the tech industry, as powerful as it is, is dominated by these ideologues. How can we possibly prevent a tyrannical force coming through those ranks? Everything just feels ripe for something bad to surface.
My hope is these people that are putting this shite into place destroy themselves. We have to stop letting these nut bags get into positions of power where they thrust their trash on to the rest of us. We've reached a point where its become consistent enough for us to have to move on it.

Absolutely. I'm a San Antonian. Was a Spurs fan before Pop arrived, and will be one long after he retires. It really wasn't a secret among locals that Pop is a lefty, he just wasn't as vocal about it until his professional legacy was secured, so the rest of the country is now just finding out He wasn't chirping so much about politics when he came within a game of being fired 20+ years ago
I just lump him in with any other professional entertainers/celebs--i just assume they're left wing unless they state otherwise. Either way, I can divorce their personal views from my enjoyment of their talent.

This.
And the media carries the water for those causing internal strife because they fall in line with them philosophically (at least in a general way) and they draw ratings/viewers/clicks. I don't think Hitler ever foresaw us falling to our own navel-gazing.

It’s going to be tough but the first step is purging the leftists from the media, academia, and our government bureaucracies......it’s going to be a tall order y’all!

I strongly disagree with that. A British Empire and Third Reich could theoretically coexist, nevertheless bringing up the United States. If Britain’s Prime Minister was a fricking pussy, then he would have signed a non-aggression pact with Hitler, where Hitler then would have gone after the Soviet Union. Once he took care of them, then yes, his eyes would have turned towards Britain and eventually ourselves if simply to orchestrate the Final Solution, but Hitler thought he could work capitalism. He couldn’t work with communism.

I'm kinda ready for Becky Hammon to take over. Or at least I hope she's his successor.

How does that work? All of those areas are growing more and more leftist by the day. Some of these academic disciplines probably shouldnt even exist.
I think conservatives have to gain more ground in the tech industry. Thats one area thats obviously attainable, not to mention its an industry bound to be around in its current form for a long time until some other technology emerges overhauling how it currently operates.
