but we also returned a bunch of upperclassmen that historically would’ve gone pro.
Lawrence and Fehko? that's "a bunch"? who else am i missing from the D?
that’s what I was wondering.

Will miss Aranda’s creativity and ability to get the best players on the field And he was the best 2nd half DC in CFB. Elite adjuster
i agree with this
Me too, and it makes me a bit nervous. If we get in a big game and the game plan ain’t working, who’s the “thinker” that’s gonna remain calm and figure out plans B and C? Pelini’s gonna be cussing and chewing arse—and I do think there is a place for that and there were times when Dave’s Ds could have used some of it—but who do we trust to adjust if it’s not Bo’s greatest strength? Maybe Bush or an analyst or 2 will be able to take a step back and see where in-game changes need to be made.
I don’t mean to imply Bo isn’t smart enough to figure shite out mid-stream, it just seems his style is to be more in the moment and, if shite is going sideways, his default is to yell at the players for lack of effort or execution rather than seeing the bigger picture for potential scheme changes.
