“Everybody has an opportunity to touch the ball,” Jordan said in the documentary. “But I didn’t want Bill Cartwright to have the ball with five seconds left. That’s not an equal opportunity offense. That’s fricking bullshite.”

He was the GOAT and its not close. Kobe is a distant 2nd then maybe Lebron.
He had brass balls.

I loved it, but I find it funny that the fashion icon MJ is, he has so little fashion sense.

that it exposed the fake aura surrounding the 1990s nba for what it was
these guys actually believe the 10 ft baseline jumper was a good shot
these guys smoked cigarettes at halftime
these guys never even lifted weights
complete embarrassment and only when the boomers die off in 20 years will the truth be spoken

Just imagine how epic it would have been if Jordan hit the shot after Reggie’s shot. I mean it was in and out.

everything i said is a fact
lebron is arguably the biggest, most elite athlete EVER and he is also arguably the best conditioned person in the world
but yea, an alcoholic who smoked cigars daily, and happened to be 5 inches shorter and 50 lbs lighter than him was a better player, just lol
lebron also has better individual stats, he will finish in the top 5 in several categories way ahead of MJ

How exactly is he that different than Tony Kukoc?
I stand by the statement Kukoc would be lighting the fricking NBA up ala Dirk if he were around. Missed his era.
My favorite parts beyond just about every word Jordan says were when Paxson's eyes watered up about how special that shot was.
Kerr started to grow back on me a little bit, he's still a twerp but not as bad as I've thought of him lately.
Loved BJ talking about him playing a different game than everyone else, too true.
I don't think they emphasized just how much Jordan made EVERYONE better. The other guys hit the shots when it counted. Not 100% on Jordan but a huge part of that is and how guys really did respond positively and successfully to his mentality.
Loved the poem piece too and some of the more humanizing stuff with his good friend Gus and his cancer. Apparently Michael paid for all his treatment.

I guess Pippen doesn’t count. How about penny or kemp.
I’d like to see lebron drive it tomorrow the hole and get fouled by kemp, Laimbeer, Shaw, parish, Ewing, Mailman, etc....
lebron is a freak but let’s be realistic the nba is a tricky tack foul league no w.

Wut?
And if you're talking about suits, that's what they wore dude.
I bet if you asked a tailor about suiting up a 6-6 dude, you'd get an interesting answer.
Don't think today's 5-6 soy boy suits would work that well.

while Lebron had elite talent around him and lost to Dirk and JJ Barea who is the size of a horse jockey. Speaks to his greatness. There isn't an argument for Lebron over MJ. He can settle for being 2nd best

Actually, I think the documentary went pretty easy on MJ's relationships with teammates where he made them worse.
Rodney McCray and Kwame Brown are probably the two best examples. McCray came to the Bulls with a fairly successful NBA career and was supposed to be a major addition to their 92-93 drive for a 3 peat. Jordan was notoriously nasty to him and McCray barely contributed.
There are plenty of stories about MJ making Kwame cry in front of Wiz teammates. Kwame went on to be one of the biggest #1 pick busts ever despite a fair amount of physical ability. He certainly did not respond well.
There were people who benefitted from playing with MJ, and there are people who did really poorly. We just didn't get the stories from people who struggled with him in the doc. Guys like Sellers, Cartwright, King, etc all had well publicized issues with MJ and didn't make the documentary.
