It really is the let her cry it out. I remember how tired we were during this and ours cried the same. One night the wife woke up for a feeding and turned the monitor off on her way out at 2 am. Forgot to turn it back on when she came back. We both woke up at 6 and was like oh my god the monitor is off and turned it on and he was sleeping peacefully. Probably cried all night but it was our first restful sleep and he was immediately better at going to sleep. They will cry and it is heartbreaking but the eventually will sleep longer and longer and cry less.

Baby’s cry for 3 things. They are hungry, they are tired or they have a dirty diaper. If the baby isn’t sleeping, it’s hungry or has a dirty diaper. Also don’t forget to swaddle the baby. Tighter the better

Check for acid reflux, we had to let ours sleep in a car seat for a while to help with this.
You're getting downvotes, but this is legit and works. It helped our son 100%.
He getting downvotes bc this is dangerous and can cause the baby to suffocate if not watching all night. Thats probably why

my daughter did the same thing when she was around that age. it was ear infections. when they're upright the ears drain. lay them down and the mucus fills the ear and put pressure on the ear drum causing pain.
This was our son. Me and my wife didn't sleep in the same bed for around a month due to ear infections causing the scenario in the OP. Him getting tubes was a life changer.

My daughter did that up until about month 11. Good luck!

Swaddle as tight as humanly possible.
White noise machine.
Cry it out - usually only takes 2-3 days to implement.
So you have a strict, set bedtime routine?
600 bath
610 pyjamas
620 bottle
630 book, then goodnight
Just do the exact same thing every day for the next 6 months.

We have a 4 year old and 4 month old. The 4 year old slept great, the 4 month old...still a struggle. We have done exactly the same thing for both (Followed baby-wise), babies are just different.
Didn't read all 6 pages, but I am sure people are telling you all sort of "sure fire" ways to get the baby to sleep. Spoiler alert, there isn't a sure fire way to get them to sleep. Most important thing is don't pick up bad habits just to get the baby to sleep. This is where people get stuck with a baby sleeping in their bed that requires 30 minutes of bouncing, rubbing their head while singing "twinkle twinkle" in b flat in a 71.8* room to get them down. My opinion is if is a dark, comfortable space...they should go to sleep.
As I mentioned, we followed baby-wise, swaddle, white noise, etc. etc. Worked for 4 year old when he was little, not so great for 4 month old but we are getting there.
We have tried all sorts of stuff (Different swaddles, arms out, swing, crib, bassinet) with the 4 month old, she just has stomach issues (Not colic, but definitely reflux). We have to pick her up when we go up; she needs to burp 90% of the time she wakes up. If you do adjust/try different things, change one thing at a time and see if it helps....you can't change 27 different things at once. We are easing into the "cry it out", usually give her 5 minutes before we head up. She is getting much better, but I don't think it is anything we are doing....her stomach is just getting better, and oatmeal is helping keep her full/comfortable.
Good luck. Sometimes you just have to grin and bear it, unfortunately.

But being sleepless is miserable. And I am glad y'all found some peace and quiet.

What’s this BabyWise thing? I’ve seen it mentioned a ton. My wife probably won’t be able to handle the cry it out method, but I’m fully on board
Use Baby wise. I have a 2 yr old and a 1yr old who both slept through the night before they were 3 months old. They go through a couple sleep regressions, but as long as they aren't dirty or hungry cry it out. The constant holding is doing more damage than the crying out in the long run.

This is $320.
Can I get the cliffs.
We are currently operating on “frick it. Nobody sleeps”
It’s a solid plan. I’m selling it online now for $20.

Awesome news!
I got lucky with a kid who loves to sleep. She does 12hrs a night, 9pm to 9am, without a problem and usually a 2hr nap or so.
