Can't they just rinse them out?

I suppose I could ask one of my seedy henchmen.

Do you know how risky to the health of the next customer that would be?

Coming Home in a Body Bag is one of my favorite movies.

Caskets are occupied long term, body bags are short term transport.

Anything's reusable with the right attitude.

They're only $30 wholesale. Stop being such a cheapskate.

I would say that if the previous body that was transported in it had died of a contagious disease, then no, you shouldn’t re-use it. You could transfer that disease to the next body.

Yes they are reused. I think the more sophisticated morgues/funeral homes/etc. actually send them either to the manufacturer or a contract company that sanitizes them so they can be put back in service.
I'm not sure on the details but that's the gist of it as far as I know. There may be some janky funeral homes that just spray them with bleach and hose them out outside or something. Definitely wouldn't surprise me.
