Now that I have some free time on weekends with no sports, I'm going to tackle the landscape. Got some knockout roses, drift roses, encore azalea. Need to fill in under a couple of large crepe myrtles. What's a good partial sun shrub with lots of pop?

I’ll ask a similar question. What are good full sun and no sun shrubs for South Louisiana flower beds?

Camellias.
Partial sun to little sun and will give you pop in the winter when everything else is DEAD.

I would not have gone with roses of any sort because of rose rosette

Foxtail Fern. Avoid afternoon sun.

I have some Foxtail Ferns by my pool which are exposed to sun all day long and they are doing very well (Baton Rouge area). In fact, I have an irrigation system but I haven't used it in 2 years and they are still doing quite well with just the rain that we have been getting.

Good to know. The place I want them actually gets more sun than I expected.
