Holy cow there are reports that other Jurors also had significant conflicts and were totally biased in the Roger Stone trial tonight.

"The judge has questioned 4 potential jurors, 3 of whom work for the federal government. One said she had a negative impression of Pres Trump, nonetheless the judge dismissed objections by the defense and allowed those jurors to go forward."
“[The] first juror, Jennifer Palmieri, was an only-in-D.C. character, a former Obama-era press secretary for the Office of Management and Budget whose husband still works at the Justice Department division that played a role in the Russia probe that ultimately snagged Stone,” reported Politico. “She even acknowledged to having negative views of President Donald Trump, and said she had followed the media coverage of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.” Palmieri served as Communications Directors for former Hillary Clinton & President Obama. She wrote a Washington Post op-ed on Trump Collusion and wrote a NY Times best seller "Dear Madam President". She was a huge Beto campaign supporter. She also served on the Clinton Foundation

Give me a break dude. Do you think that everybody is a democrat or something? There aren't plenty of Republicans in government who would make anything like this public immediately? I know you're not an idiot. Exercise your critical thinking skills instead of parroting ignorance.

I'm sorry but the Roger Stone case must be declared a mistrial for the sanctity of the Judicial system. The Judge also needs to be disbarred because she is either totally incompetent to allow this or she was in on the set-up.
If this happened to your father you would be outraged. I now understand why she immediately sealed Stone's filing from public view on this matter.

looks like stone's attorneys had no recourse thanks to the 3-name judge eat up with TDS.

Chuck the Schmuck and Pencilneck better be careful about trying to run with this one for the next impeachment.
Lots of shite they don’t want getting out involved in here, apparently.

These quotes appeared to be fake as they were unlinked, and (FYI) Google has buried them. They are nearly impossible to search out.
But they are real . . . . mostly.
"Jennifer Palmieri" is erroneously edited into your Politico quote.
Links added.
Nonetheless, admitting as a potential juror an Obama-era press secretary whose husband still works at the Justice Department division that played a role in the Russia probe that ultimately snagged Stone, is awful. Doing so over Defense objections?
YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING!
So first the Judge, Amy Berman Jackson, puts a gag order on Stone and his counsel "from making statements to the media or in public settings that pose a likelihood of material prejudice to this case."
Then she overrules Stone's legal team and allows tainted jurors.
Barely a whisper in the press though.
In no small part because Jackson's gag order prevented wider dissemination of WTF she was doing.
The woman should be absolutely excoriated.
No excuse for this Banana Republic stuff!

quote:As far as I can tell, Palmieri never served as Press Secretary for the Office of Management and Budget. Alex Jones claims it was Palmieri. If Politico's descriptions are accurate, he's wrong. Someone may be able to search female Press Secretaries for the OMB under Obama and figure this out.quote:This is the actual Politico piece:
"[The] first juror, Jennifer Palmieri, was an only-in-D.C. character, a former Obama-era press secretary for the Office of Management and Budget whose husband still works at the Justice Department division that played a role in the Russia probe that ultimately snagged Stone,” reported Politico. “She even acknowledged to having negative views of President Donald Trump, and said she had followed the media coverage of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.” Palmieri served as Communications Directors for former Hillary Clinton & President Obama. And that first juror was an only-in-Washington character, a former Obama-era press secretary for the Office of Management and Budget whose husband still works at the Justice Department division that played a role in the Russia probe that ultimately snagged Stone. She acknowledged having negative views of President Donald Trump and said she had followed the media coverage of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.
Still, the woman said she did not have strong views about Stone, and Jackson denied a request from Stone’s lawyers to strike the woman as a potential juror.
Note: The Politico piece does not name Palmieri

Has Boosie showed up yet to explain to us how dem politicians in Stone’s jury is a nothingburger, but Trump’s tweets are secret dog whistles to his jack booted DOJ?

Tomeka was the Superintendent of Memphis City Schools at one time. You guessed it, the MCS got even worse under her ‘leadership’.
Correction for accuracy: she was the President of the School Board for the MCS.

I'm telling you people when these petty, vindictive fricks get power back, they are going to jail their fellow citizens left and right, while calling those being put behind bars "authoritarians".
Every piece of garbage Filth that posts on this board supports this type of shite. They want you fleeced and jailed/dead.

Tomeka???
Hang on, Stones legal team thought it would be a good idea to have a black female on the panel?

Hank will be along shortly to explain how this doesn’t matter.
But we do not know much about that voir dire at this point.
NIH is right. Did the lawyers bother to google her the previous night? Did they ask the right questions to even require her to disclose this information? Did they try unsuccessfully to strike her for cause? Were they forced to use their limited peremptory strikes on someone they thought was even worse?
Hard to engage in legitimate criticism with so little information.

she is jus ONE of the veniremen, and the lawyers clearly felt she was bad-enough to exercise a peremptory strike to remove her from the panel. If there were others just as bad, that may explain Tomeka’s survival.
Failure to strike her for cause is a different question, but again we have few of the facts. It will be interesting to watch them develop.
