Kennison ran a 10.3 for comparison.

That 10.78 was last year. Probably run in 10.6’s this year. Which is elite.

Boutte reportedly runs a 4.37 40..... Doing some digging on Adams I found this “Verified 4.32 40 for Alex at Mississippi State’s camp this summer.” We got some SPEED on the way fellas!
think they can get underneath and catch some of those 60-70 yard bombs coming from Myles Brennan.
think they'll get some secondary cushion after a handful of these long bombs go down
Thought Racey (Myles favorite target) was fast

Everyone is ready to anoint the incoming freshmen as always (I’m often guilty of this too), but I think Racey is going to have a monster year next season.
So will Boutte and Adams though. For comparison’s sake they will probably catch more balls than Palmer and Lee did this year.

All anyone needs to do is look at the all star game and you will see his speed and quickness, or look at his highlight film. The speed will speak for itself.

Devery's best times were a 10.4 in the 100 & a 21.06 in the 200.

Track speed does not directly translate to football speed. Running a WR route isn't a foot race.
However, someone who cannot run fast on the track is unlikely to be dangerously fast on the football field, just because most WRs and CBs are both sprinters and leapers, at least to a degree, so you're "screened in" to track and field, almost by default.
The differences are - you're not running in a straight line, either running routes or in coverage, and you're wearing cleats and armor.
