As you get ready to go to sleep start thinking about whether you’ll wake up or pass in your sleep.
It’ll keep you awake contemplating life and death until you can’t keep your eyes open.

Use to do this often and would keep myself up at night all the time. Especially when I first moved away and lived alone. But I finally rationalized that life went on for thousands, if not millions of years before me and will after me. None of us asked to be here. At some point we won’t be here and you just have to enjoy life and make the most of it until then
