When was it? I know it was last year. But was it in Spting practice? Fall? Or even earlier?
The rant was rolling the "yea right" eyes...
Joe knew something we could have never imagined

I think he said it at sec media day

Take out kneel downs at the end of multiple games, LSU would have averaged 50 PPG. Incredible.

He had the one at the Manning Passing Camp where he was in a bucket hat. In retrospect, it was the goat interview

That was at the manning passing academy this past summer

He said they would score 40-50-60 pts....

I think he said in a recent interview that he made the prediction in JUly. He said folks scoffed in disbelief.
I think Buckeye Jeaux mad the same prediction.
Is Burrow Buckeye Jeaux?

Forget the kneel downs. Joe sat out a full 6 quarters, or a game and half, after LSU had huge leads. Give him his normal stats for 6 quarters & those numbers would never be broken. The OC for the Bengals, at the Senior Bowl this week, said that he had studied every LSU game & it was his opinion that, against top fight competition, Joe was just starting to peak in his last 3 games.

Yep Finebaum recalled it as he was in the room part of the media interviewing him and was quite stunned to hear him say that.

Two dropped TDs vs Auburn. Another 2 vs Georgia. Another one vs Clemson. That's minimum 5.
Should have been 38 vs Auburn, 51 vs Georgia, 49 vs Clemson.
Unreal.
Should have averaged 51 ppg.

After reading that post, I wonder if Dickie V has recovered his self esteem.

I'll confess to that. After years of hearing about how the offense would be improved - going back to the Miles era - I had a "show me" attitude.

I believe either he or coach O said that once they saw the O killing the D in spring and fall practice, they knew.

Funny Felipe Franks said the same thing

Why “show me”? If you watched the last 3 or 4 games of 2018, then you would have seen the offense was at a minimum much much greater than what LSU had been running for the last decade. That said nothing prepared me for the show Burrow and the offense put on.... nothing short of the Greatest offense in the history of CFB!
