I have no doubt we have media that would tip off our enemies to get our guys killed if they could and they had the ability to do it. They would couch it in bullshite.
That’s not a new phenomenon.

I’m sure many here are adverse to his name.. but he was correct. And knew how to win a war.

MSNBC isn't a real new outlet.
Alex Jones is right more of the time than FarLeft MSNBC. That's not hyperbole. They peddle in conspiracy and hearsay almost exclusively.

don't want to defend msnbc but he clearly says he's just saying what iran state media is currently reporting
MSM knows that the average viewer hears “30 dead American soldiers” and either talks over or blocks out the rest of the statement.

Did he say that the Iranian reports were unconfirmed? I did not click.
He did. Multiple times in about five seconds. Said "I'm not sure about this," reported the deaths and said "was Iranian state TV and unconfirmed."
Not direct quote but close enough. Overblown.

Then why say it? They know EXACTLY what they are doing.
So do the producers and EP or it wouldn’t make air without a correction or retraction.

Yes, he said it. But why would MSNBC not stop and think- how the hell do the Iranians know the number of casualties?
Posted on 1/8/20 at 12:36 am to Drank
He was reporting from Tehran so I think it's legitimate to report what Iran is saying about it, whether or not it's verified at the moment. Regardless, it still would be reportable even if the Pentagon had said nothing happened, because Iran's propaganda is part of the story. Just like US media airing Baghdad Bob.
US media embedded during the Iraq invasion reported all kinds of shite that was positive for the US position during the invasion without verification (ex. When we found a "chemical weapons plant" in Nasariyah that wasn't) because that's kinda what war reporters do in the moment.
I'm not saying that channel isn't slanted because it certainly is but this seems a stretch given the circumstances.
So they are still reporting US deaths on that channel or not?
And it was (supposedly) true that Iran state media reported US casualties, so there is nothing to retract anyways.

How would Iran know the number exactly? Were they permitted to go in and count bodies?

I heard the floor directly beneath Rachael had to call out maintenance to fix what first appeared to be a water leak but turned out her snatch was so wet from the thought of America’s being killed.

The dem media whines about being called fake news yet they keep falling for the same shite.
Posted on 1/8/20 at 5:57 am to stout
Actually MSNBC was celebrating the death of 30 Americans until they found out it wasn't true. Then they got bummed out.

Exactly. It also informs us of their motives with the missile strike. If they are still lying to their people that they killed US soldiers when they didn't, it's obvious what's up here. Saving face at home without getting destroyed by the US by actually hitting something.

Yeah - but he immediately used that to suggest something like = "this is the world we have to face now"
I don't think he was referring to having to face Iran propaganda - he was leveraging that to say = "we are now in a hot way, sacrificing American lives for the personal gain of DJT."
but yeah - he reported what 'others' were saying - just as they have been from 2017 - dossier - Kavanaugh - Mueller - Covington kids - impeachment - ALL were absolutely - factually - morally - evilly WROGN but were useful in painting a false narrative that supported the NEXT lie they anxiously expose when 'someone who heard something' leaks to them.
They don't care one whit at the misery and financial ruin and peoples reputations and the hobbling of the government they cause by their breathless - "we heard blah blah blah bullshite."

the enemy's media is lying to its people
If THAT were the point of the story then it would be fine -
their take was the OPPOSITE of that - it was a message to US that our troops are being slaughtered because of TRUMP.
There is a difference in the slant of a story if you look for it.
Did you get one hint that their message was = "enemy's media is lying to its people"
