Will Saints fans ever accept anything less than SB win didn’t involve Goodell/Ref interference?

Well, when the Refs completely fricked us out of one superbowl and change the rules as a result of said frick up, I think we are entitled to that mentality asshat

I took a second closer look at your post, and huh?

Favoritism exist in every aspect of life. Every single aspect. People even have trouble resisting favoritism with their own kids.
I don't know why this is so unbelievable to some people.

What about last night?

Yes, our fans have to quit that shite. We are turning into the Houston Rockets.....and Brees is our James Harden.
we lost, now lets cheer for former Saint Ingram to get a ring!

Every fan base is like this. The no call outrage was deserved in Rams game last year. Go to any message board or know fans of any other team and they all do the same after a loss. You’re on a message board with a large Saints following, what else would you expect. There were probably 25 threads saying don’t blame the refs for this last night, you seem to have ignored those. Saints lost b/c they sucked, not due to the refs yesterday.

As poorly as both teams played, both had a chance to win it at the end. But one got screwed by a push off. Minnesota's receiver gained an illegal advantage and it resulted in a touchdown that ended the game. Had that been called correctly they likely kick a field goal and then the Saints have an opportunity to win it or tie. A bad no call once again took away an opportunity for the Saints to win the game. Despite how poorly the Saints played. Bottom line is, the official should never be a factor in the game.

We should have had the chance to tie/win yesterday in OT. There is no doubt we got owned in the trenches. I wonder how much that had to do with the Vikings resting their players during week 17.

It’s a double negative, sorry I didn’t word it better. If saints don’t win SB, will Saints fans accept there was no Goodell/ref interference.

I think you just did it again!

Sorry OP.
When Saints fans live in the real world where this shite is called on us
Trequan opi
massive subtle pushoff and extension right at the point of separation to catch ball.

They are victims. Victims of an incompetent coaching staff.

Yesterday’s call wasn’t as egregious as last year’s non call, yet some analysts and former officials have said that by definition of the rule Rudolph committed OPI. He certainly gained an advantage and separation by extending his arm. It’s uncanny that the saints almost always seem to be on the wrong end of the verdict with these crucial calls whether there’s a rule to govern a certain play or there isn’t.
Now, saying all that, I think every Saints fan is frustrated with this franchises inability to perform in a playoff game to the point where we shouldn’t be effected by these calls. You know what our away game record is in the playoffs, but outside of the cardinals game during our super bowl run I can’t remember a playoff win at home that wasn’t an excruciatingly nerve wracking game to sit through to the last second because we refuse to play to our potential.

Chad504, that is routine scuffling that happens on every single downfield play. Sorry.

Well that's ridiculous and we've been called for a lot less repeatedly

except you ignored what he said - in an earlier game - Traqon was called for the exact same thing. not just similar - but the exact same thing. in the words of George Carlin - no need for a double standard - 1 will do just fine.
if it is OPI for one team, it should be for all teams. the fact it was not reviewed at all - which is the point of booth reviews for touchdowns is what is most aggravating.
at the end of the day, it is the same thing i said last year after the no call - you never put yourself into the position that the Referees decide the outcome. take care of business and not allow it to be so close at the end that this sort of crap can happen.

Honestly, for every team in the NFL, the officiating has been inconsistent and wildly unpredictable. It turns a lot of fans off because the game is not truly decided by the teams playing the game. Having said that, the Saints played like dogshit and deserved to lose yesterday. The coaching, offensive execution (outside of Hill) and OL play was lousy. Yesterday, the refs did not cause us to lose. This was on the Saints.
