I love Joe but I'll never feel bad for someone about to get paid Millions. Maybe he will be the one to turn the program around. Be a former heisman, former national champion, rich, and the guy to change things up in Cincinnati!

Okay
While a lesser competitive athlete maybe content with just making it financially, a player like Burrow though, the competitive fire burns too bright inside to ever be satisfied with just being well off financially. That fire is what has made him the greatest QB in Tiger history & lead to what has become the greatest season ever for any collegiate QB in history.

Hopefully someone trades up with Cincinnati for the #1 spot to snag Burrow.
Miami is the only one with the picks to make it attractive

This pathetic "Concern Troll" again?

Why not be happy for joe ? It’s close to home. He would love to elevate that team and he will

They were just in the playoffs a few years ago.
Because of their defense. A defense that is no longer the same caliber to carry the franchise because of age & players leaving via free agency. @ people not having a clue as to how cheap of an owner Mike Brown is.

Hopefully in two years while Burrow makes his millions the Saints can in some way snag Burrow from the Bengals kind of like Sean snagged Brees from the Chargers. Burrow would excel in a partnership with Payton.
All that is needed is for the Saints to forget he played at LSU and to think of him as an Ohio State guy.

OP is weak minded, Joe is not
Joe will succeed with the Bengals because he's Joe fricking Burrow

I usually can state my case/get my point across with 1 post. Do you usually have to copy and paste your first post, so you can make it again exactly as a second posting?

From the jump ... everybody, every single person - NFL people, agents, ex-quarterbacks I had talked to that were since retired and moved on - said, 'You can't go to Cincinnati. You can't go to Cincinnati. It's a quarterback graveyard.' ... I, at the time, was arrogant, young dumb, 20-year-old kid, and I was like, 'I'm gonna go there and make a difference. I'm gonna go there and change it. I don't care what all these people are saying.' ... I was naive. I didn't want to believe it and want to hear it. And I thought, 'Well, they haven't had me. I'll go there and change it.' ... I thought I was the difference-maker. I thought, 'The organization doesn't matter. The players on the field are what matters.' And I was 100 percent wrong. All that matters is the organization. Because great organizations get the right players. So I was wrong on that. And it was just an accumulation of so many things.

Hoping that the Steelers would trade up for him. I don't bsee the Saints making a move.

He's getting the chance to play for his home state and three hours from where he grew up. Burrow will be the next Lebron.
He is coming home and will bring the lombardi trophy to Cincinatti. Odell beckham will request a trade there soon enough.

Doubtful they would trade him to a division rival though. But again we are talking about Owner/GM Mike Brown of the Bungals though.

That franchise is one continuous mess, owner Mike Brown is a cheapskate, and their facilities are some the worst in the league.
I have very little knowledge regarding the pro draft. I do remember that Peyton Manning, and before him John Elway both made it known before being drafted that they would not sign with the teams who would draft them, and ultimately signed with the colts, and broncos respectively. Is it possible that JB can do this?
oh asking for a friend.

Are you trying to drum up a fat commission for some agent? Joe will go to Cincy. Quit throwing piss balloons at Joe's new team!
BTW, Palmer played 15 years in the league and made $170,000,000. Had a dandy little career.

It's possible. Joe's family isn't rich by any means but I am sure they could afford to support him financially for a year until the 2021 draft. The Elway parents and Manning parents had the funds to carry out their threat, and those team owners knew it.

You are think about Eli Manning & not Peyton. Eli forced the Chargers to trade him for Philip Rivers on draft day because his agent let the Chargers know that he would not play for them prior to the draft.
Elway did the same thing to the Colts in 1983. He said he would not play for the Colts if they drafted him which they did anyway only to trade him to Denver a few weeks later after the draft.
Also, Bo Jackson was originally drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He too refused to play for the Bucs. He sat out that entire season, never signing with them which allowed him re-enter the draft the following year.
quote:
A year later, when Tampa Bay's rights to him had expired, the Raiders drafted him in the seventh round, smartly offering to let him join them after baseball season, and he played parts of four years with Oakland before a hip injury ended his NFL career early in 1990.
