I just think your original post was naive.

Why are most upvotes for atheists views and belief in god is mostly downvoted?

Overall, there are probably more theists than atheists here, but I think the percentage of athiests on almost any message board is higher than it is in the general population.

A couple of reasons:

1. I think atheists (in general) are more inquisitive than theists.

2. A lot of atheists don't have a real world outlet to discuss their views because disbelief in God is still taboo in a lot of places, especially the Deep South.

Yes, because the judge knows deep down that god isn't real.

No I would never say that. Why? I might be a dirty atheist, but I am not retarded.

Chance is not a thing. It is nothing.

You're experiencing common grace. Just because you tell yourself you don't believe in God doesn't mean that you weren't created to appreciate the rest of his handiwork.

Energy doesn't go away. I find it very hard to believe that when you die you would just cease to exist.

none of us possesses all knowledge, even if we had half the knowledge or access to it-- it is still possible that God exists in the other half.

We should live life seeking truth not living thinking we know everything-

"Ever learning but never able to come to the knowledge of Truth" Do you know who said that?
