"How are you Les?"?
"I don't know. A man and his two children tried to kill me."
Just an all time great delivery of his lines throughout that episode. One of the funniest episodes in TV history.

I remember watching the episode when it first ran as a kid. I was crying from laughing so hard. One of the best TV comedy episodes ever.

That show had moments of pure gold: the turkey drop, the phone cops, shite that just isn't even approached nowadays.
Remember when Andy told Herb that Jennifer was "the most successful sex-change operation ever", and Herb came over and just stared at her, trying to decide if that really mattered?

Pretty sure Johnny told Herb.
And it was the most diabolically successful sex change operation in medical history

Far from the only time Herb had to mull that one over considering that he got hit on by at least 2-3 trannies during the run.

The episode that Johnny and Venus were drinking on the air with a police officer to show how alcohol affects people was hilarious! Johnny kept getting better the more he drank.

I'm going to guess that episode is now flagged by social media as 'offensive'.

I’ve never seen this show but my father still talks about this episode and almost cries laughing

A lot stems from the brilliance of both the Les Nessman and Johnny Fever characters.

The fight with WPIG mascot and Les in the WKRP carp outfit in the drinking episode is pure comedy gold.

You can't pretend to drop turkeys out of a helicopter anymore on television.
